Child Nutrition


Mississippi Achievement School District's Department of Child Nutrition is administered through the United States Department of Agriculture, the Mississippi State Department of Education, and the local School District. 
It is our goal to serve a well balanced, nutritious, and safe meals to all students, faculty, and staff members of the school district. Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. 

We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students. This department is a self-supporting and nonprofit program that receives federal and state funding.
